Cashew field day in Mangalore

Mangalore, March 17

A ‘cashew field day’ will be conducted at Agriculture Research Station at Ullal in Mangalore taluk on March 19.

A statement said here that there will be demonstration on juice extraction from cashew apple.

Various species of cashew will also be on display.

Dr P.G. Chengappa, Vice-Chancellor of University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, will inaugurate the ‘cashew field day’.

Dr M.G. Bhat, National Research Centre for Cashew, and Mr K. Prakash Rao, President of Karnataka Cashew Manufacturers’ Association, will be present at the ‘cashew field day’, it added.
