IndiGo awarded ‘Best low-fare carrier’

New Delhi, March 19 The low-cost airline IndiGo has been awarded the ‘Best low-fare carrier in India for 2007,’ by the Air Passengers Association of India (APAI). In a statement the airline has said that the poll was conducted by APAI among frequent fliers as well as its members in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Kochi airports during the week beginning February 15 this year. The award is based on scores received on six criteria including value for money, punctuality, connectivity, safety, refunds and baggage handling.
