Ahmedabad, March 26 Australian real estate consultancy major L J Hooker (LJH) on Wednesday opened Gujarat’s first business franchisee office here to tap the emerging demand for professional property management, particularly in the residential and retail segment in the State.

Besides opening more offices shortly, it would also offer 40 training modules in realty business, focus on property investment management (PIM) for NRIs and other investors in order to streamline and professionalise the sector with transparency and ethical practices.

Focusing on the residential properties and offering seamless connectivity to both global investors and local end-users, the company would enter into tie-ups with local builders and developers, Mr Ramneek Bakhshi, Principal, told reporters here.

LJH would provide assistance to the customers in all phases associated with buying, selling, renting a property, including services such as financing, relocating and utility connections. It would offer a one-stop-shop experience to the customers and charge commission on only one party involved, he said. LJH would be lending its trademark, innovative technology and marketing mix to its franchisees, Mr Bakhshi said.

The company, set up in 1928, entered India about a year ago and has set up many offices across the country.
