Cards target young professionals

Mumbai, April 1

ICICI Bank and American Express have launched the “ICICI Bank Ascent American Express Card”.

The card offers 3 to 6 reward points per Rs 100 spent on the card, depending on the purchase. ICICI Bank and American Express have tied up with Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, Yatra.com, Provogue and Jet Airways to offer rewards and privileges to card members.

ICICI Bank is also offering the “ICICI Bank Business Ascent American Express” Card, which has been designed for entrepreneurs.

The card offers benefits from the “Business Advantage Programme”, which features savings on business related expenses. The fees for the two cards are Rs 7,000 and Rs 8,000, respectively.

“Our target audience is professionals in the age group of 28-40 who reside in the top 8 cities, travel a lot and earn over Rs 5 lakh a year,” said Mr Sachin Khandelwal, Head Cards Group, ICICI Bank. –
