Mangalore, April 2 Mr R. Rajamani, Managing Director of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), took over as the Chairman of the recently formed joint venture with Shell India (P) Ltd named ‘Shell-MRPL Aviation Fuel Services Pvt Ltd’.

A company release here on Wednesday gave the names of the other directors on the board of the company as Mr Vikram Mehta, Chairman of Shell Group of Companies in India, Mr L.K. Gupta, Director (Finance) of MRPL, and Mr Richard Jory, GM of Shell Aviation.

Quoting Mr Rajamani, the release said that the joint venture will set new benchmarks in Indian aviation service.
