Announcements Our Bureau Coimbatore, April 9 Orient Information Technology Ltd has said that the shareholders at the court-convened meeting held on April 8 have approved the scheme of arrangement with some modifications, between Marketplace Technologies Pvt Ltd and Orient Information Technology Ltd and IT People (India) Ltd and their respective shareholders with requisite majority. SRF Ltd’s board of directors had approved a capital expenditure proposal of Rs 17 crore for increasing the capacity of the company’s Chloromethanes plant from 82.5 TPD to 102 TPD through de-bottlenecking and this has been completed as on March 31, 2008. Unity Infraprojects Ltd has received two orders aggregating to Rs 221.85 crore — a contract from Vamona Developers Pvt Ltd, Pune, for construction of mall and hotel, multiplex building at Viman Nagar, Pune, for an estimated contract value of Rs 133.59 crore and from Kondapur Tower Pvt Ltd for construction of five towers with basement and podium at Kondapur, Hyderabad, for an estimated amount of Rs 88.26 crore, both to be completed within 18 months. Tech Mahindra Ltd has informed that the High Court of Bombay, the High Court of Karnataka and the High Court of Delhi, at the hearing held on March 28, April 03, and April 04, 2008 respectively, have approved the Scheme of Amalgamation between iPolicy Networks Ltd and Tech Mahindra (R & D Services) Ltd with Tech Mahindra Ltd and their respective shareholders.
