Our Bureau Mumbai, April 9 The Bombay Stock Exchange today said that it will reshuffle the mid- and small-cap indices from April 15. In the mid-cap index, 24 new companies will be added and 16 will be removed. The companies that would be added to the BSE-Midcap Index include the recently listed BGR Energy Systems, IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd, OnMobile Global Ltd, Sobha Developers and Future Capital Holdings Ltd Bajaj Holdings & Investment Ltd, which was de-merged from Bajaj Auto and listed on the exchange recently, has also been included in the mid-cap index. Another financial services company being included in the mid-cap index is Geojit Financial Services. ExclusionsThe companies which would be excluded from the mid-cap index include the recently listed Kolte-Patil Developers Ltd. Fourteen out of 16 companies getting excluded from the BSE-Mid-Cap Index will be included in the BSE-Small Cap Index. These include Aptech Ltd, Arvind Mills Ltd, Bata Ltd, Hexaware Technologies Ltd, IL&FS Investsmart, NIIT Technologies, Take Solutions and TVS Motor Company Ltd.
