SBT unveils loan scheme for hostels

Thiruvananthapuram, April 10 State Bank of Travancore has introduced a new loan scheme to help householders to convert their extra space and vacant buildings, especially those close to colleges, hospitals and IT parks, into hostels.

The bank will extend finance for renovation or modification of the buildings and purchase of furniture and household appliances.

The promoter will also be provided with working capital. According to a statement from the bank SBT, the loan comes with liberal and attractive terms and conditions in respect of security and interest.
