Software Marketing - New Products & Services New Procall solution Bangalore, April 17 Enterprises using the heavy analogue mobile trunk telephone will soon get to migrate to snazzy handsets that will provide instant team connectivity at the push of a button thanks to Procall launching the digital wireless (radio) solution featuring Motorola's iDEN (Integrated Digital Enhanced Network) technology. The digital Push-To-Team (PTT) will be introduced in Bangalore, followed by Delhi and Mumbai, with an initial investment of Rs 600 crore. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Mr K. Satyanarayana, CEO of Procall, said though it boasts of seamless features and value-added services provided by GSM and CDMA technologies, PTT service was for business-to-business segment, where its main users would be from IT, ITeS, Hospitality, Logistics, Fleet Management and Health sectors. "Using just one pocketsized digital handset, the service combines the capabilities of a digital wireless phone, two-way radio with instant group talk feature, integrated A-GPS and a host of other utilities, including barcode scanners and e-mail services," Mr Satyanarayana said.
