Kochi, April 18 In order to fulfill its commitments to promote SmartCity Kochi and SmartCity Malta, top officials of SmartCity have participated in OutsourceWorld, held on April 16-17 in London.

Considered to be the premier business trade platform for executives with a need to outsource business services, OutsourceWorld London puts top level executives face-to-face with exhibitors who understand their particular needs and have hands-on experience delivering solutions and solving problems for companies, a press release said.

SmartCity, a global network of self-sustained townships for knowledge-based industries, engaged top UK outsourcing companies to expand their business to SmartCity Kochi and SmartCity Malta where they can be closer to their customer base.

Reflecting the great demand for outsourcing, the global outsourcing market has today grown to $350 billion, the release pointed out.

Raising awareness

Mr Fareed Abdulrahman, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of SmartCity Kochi and SmartCity Malta, said: “Our participation served to raise awareness and interest about SmartCity among local, regional and international audiences and at the same time engage stakeholders. This will further enhance credibility and awareness of SmartCity locations.”
