Kolkata, April 23 Calcutta Business School, offering, two-year PGDM (post-graduate diploma in management) courses, will be launched here in July, initially with a batch of 60 students to be selected strictly on merit.

Giving this information, Mr S.K. Birla, industrialist and also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Founder Body, told newspersons here on Wednesday that the curriculum and world-class faculty would provide a cutting-edge to the students.

The All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi, has given its approval to the course which would cost Rs 3.5 lakh a year.

Full-time teachers will include those with long teaching and research experience in IIMs and other management institutes.
