Corporation Bank, IIM-A ink pact

Mangalore, April 23 Corporation Bank and the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad have tied up for providing educational loans to the institute’s students. A bank release said here that as part of the MoU both Corporation Bank and IIM-A will work in close coordination with each other through their branches/office. The institute will nominate the bank as a preferred financier for granting education loans to its bonafide students pursuing regular full-time academic programmes. Apart from education loan, the bank also extends assistance for purchasing accessories such as laptops and personal computers to aid students in their studies. The release said that Mr M. Narendra, Chief General Manager of Corporation Bank, and Prof Samir K Barua, Director of IIM-A, signed the MoU in Ahmedabad recently. — Our Bureau
