Roadways Money & Banking - NBFCs States - Tamil Nadu Shriram Transport holds ‘Truck Utsav’ Our Bureau Chennai, April 25 In a bid to provide small truck owners and their families with education, offer business counselling and create awareness on products related to road transport industry non-banking finance company Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd has launched ‘Truck Utsav’ here, on Friday. Truck owners and representatives from companies allied to the trucking industry, including tyre manufacturers, oil, lubricants and insurance companies, participated in the event inaugurated by the Tamil Nadu Transport Minister, Mr K. N. Nehru. The truck owners and their families were provided a free medical check-up. An AIDS awareness programme was also organised. According to company officials, this is the 14th programme in a series organised by them. The objective of the programme is to establish communication with the trucking community, which is generally not accessible after business is over.
