Radio City’s initiatives for IPL

Our Bureau

Bangalore, April 29 Radio City 91.1FM has lined up a series of initiatives for the IPL — match tickets, limited edition team merchandise and interaction with cricketers — for listeners across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.

The FM station has announced ‘Radio City 11’ on its breakfast show ‘Whatte Fun Mornings’ and evening drive-time show ‘Joyride’ — this is a contest which allows 11 lucky radio listeners across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad, to form their own team with their favourite RJ and attend every IPL match in their home city till the grand final in Mumbai.

Radio City 91.1FM is the official and exclusive radio partner for Mr Vijay Mallya’s Bangalore Royal Challengers. As part of this association, Bangalore’s ‘Radio City 11’ will get to meet the Royal Challengers team along with the cricket commentator and CEO of the Bangalore team, Mr Charu Sharma. Listeners can also win goodies and merchandise, autographed by the Royal Challengers.

Apart from catching live cricket updates at regular intervals, the FM station will have Mr Charu Sharma airing his opinions and analysis for every match.
