Financial Performance Corporate Results - Software Subex in the red in fourth quarter
Our Bureau Bangalore, April 29 Subex Ltd reported a net loss of Rs 50.56 crore in the latest fourth quarter, but said for fiscal 2009, the company expects earnings of $12 million. For the period, it expects product revenue of $125 million, it said. Shares of the operations support systems provider fell 11.12 per cent to close at Rs 175.90 on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Tuesday. Mr Subhas Menon, Founder Chairman, Managing Director and Chief Executive, Subex Ltd, said though the company had a bad year with revenue not happening, the company has enough orders in hand and could see a good conversion ratio in the next few quarters. For the latest quarter, revenue was Rs 108.47 crore, the company said in a statement. Revenue from product was Rs 78.33 crore, it added. For the financial year 2008, net revenue increased to Rs 485.33 crore from Rs 340.90 crore in the year-ago quarter, Subex said. Net loss for the period was Rs 68.10 crore.
