Personal Products Gillette net down 1.3% in Q3 Mumbai, May 1 Procter & Gamble Group company Gillette India Ltd posted a marginal decline of 1.3 per cent in its third quarter net profit of Rs 28.4 crore (Rs 28.8 crore). The net sales of the company grew by 15 per cent to Rs 140 crore (Rs 121.6 crore), primarily driven by oral care brand, Oral B, which grew by 38 per cent. Sales of grooming products, razors and blades increased by 12.7 per cent, according to a company release. Mr Shantanu Khosla, Managing Director, said, “Me n’s grooming products continue to be the core business for the company and it is rewarding to see Gillette Mach 3 grow by 20 per cent during this quarter.” — Our Bureau More Stories on : Personal Products
