Mahindra sales up 56% in April

Mumbai, May 2

Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra clocked 19,392 units in the domestic market in April against 12,235 in the year-ago period. The company announced that sales, including exports, grew by an approximate 56 per cent in April with total sales of 20,030 vehicles (12,867). “We have further consolidated our leadership position in utility vehicles and recorded spectacular growth in all the segments,” said Mr Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Vice-President (Sales & Mar keting), Automotive Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. The company’s passenger car joint venture, Mahindra Renault, sold 1,713 units of the Logan. —
