Standing by the people: Raj Bhavan in Kolkata partially lit with the light coming from the floodlights in Eden Garden stadium following its ‘power shutdown’ session which started from Wednesday. The Governor of West Bengal, Mr Gopalkrishna Gandhi, has decided to observe a voluntary two-hour power shutdown in Raj Bhavan everyday to stand by the city dwellers who face similar power crisis. — A.
