Blame game

It has been rightly observed in the editorial “The blame game” (Business Line, May 5) that “More often than not, the US administration lives in a world of its own, generally removed from the realities.” The time has come for the US to turn “inward” to find solutions for its own economic ills, social malaise and political turmoil rather than find fault with others. The food crisis is a reminder to one and all to think and act globally to solve global issues. The UN must play a major role without being pressured by the US.
