Public Sector Banks States - Kerala
Kochi, June 30 Punjab National Bank opened its 129th branch at Mannarkkad today. Mr Jose Baby, Deputy Speaker of State Legislative Assembly, inaugurated the new branch. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the efforts and role of the bank.Mr P. Ahmed Ashraf, President, Block Panchayat, Mannarkad, inaugurated the locker facility and requested the bank to provide more loan facilities to the students and business communities. Mr Krishnan Ramiah, Deputy General Manager, Punjab National Bank, Kerala Circle, presided over the function. He spoke about the IT initiatives taken by the bank to provide efficient and quick services to the customers. He said all the branches in the State are networked under the core banking solution. He also spoke of the various steps taken by the bank in providing education loan to the student community. Mr R.S. Pillai, Chief Manager, Kerala Circle office, welcomed the gathering and said that the bank has been always ahead in providing best services to the customers through the IT technologies. Mr T.I.
