AI Express to start Kuwait operations

Mumbai, July 1

Air India’s budget carrier Air India Express inducted its 12th owned Boeing 737-800 aircraft to commence operations to Kuwait. The airline will commence operations to Kuwait from three cities in the South namely Kozhikode, Kochi and Mangalore, said a statement. It will operate a daily flight to Kuwait from Kozhikode, three flights a week from Kochi and two flights a week from Mangalore. This will take the international frequencies of Air India Express to 150 a week. The new aircraft takes the strength of the Air India Express fleet to 19, which includes seven on lease.
