GVK ups stake in Gautami Power
Hyderabad, July 2
GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd (GVKPIL) has
informed BSE that Gautami Power Ltd (GPL), an
associate of GVKPIL, has allotted 10,60,09,912 equity
shares of Rs 10 each at par to GVKPIL against the share
application money already invested by the company. As a
result, the equity stake of the GVKPIL in GPL has been
increased from 44.97 per cent (17,42,02,550 shares) to 51
per cent (28,02,12,462 shares). With this development,
GPL has become a subsidiary of the company with effect
from July 1, 2008. - Our Bureau
