Chennai, July 11 Yoganista Technologies Pvt Ltd has announced the launch of its new project, Midcareers.com, offering placement services for mid-aged professionals.

Addressing the media, the Chief Architect of Yoganista Technologies, Mr G. Ramu, said Midcareers.com would work with mid-career professionals on their placements and career enrichment processes.

Pointing to a survey conducted by the company before the launch of the project, he said about 40 per cent of the mid-career professionals switch jobs. They need guidance. Unlike young people, mid-career professionals face two challenges — finding a suitable job fitting their profile in terms of professional and personal aspirations and addressing their career needs.

These professionals are unique in their needs and demands compared to juniors and freshers, and this has been the impetus for Yoganista Technologies to launch its new project, he added.

Counsellor partnership

Midcareers.com would offer career guidance, counselling, career tools, thought exchange and placement services. Towards this, it has partnered with five professional counsellors in Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

The main revenue generator for Midcareers.com is placement fee from employers who seek services, he said. According to Executive Recruiters Association, the size of the placement industry in India is $1 billion.
