Applabs to hire more

Mumbai, July 16

The world’s largest independent software testing company, Applabs Technologies will add about 500 more employees to its India operations as it is chasing about 12-15 domestic deals.

The Philadelphia based company- which largely generates revenues from the US and Europe- is currently engaged in discussions with all the top companies in the telecom and the banking and financial services space in India, according to Ms Reema Sarin, AVP - Marketing and Corporate Communications, Applabs.

In India, Applabs currently employees about 1,600 people, all of whom are based out of its only beachhead in Hyderabad

Bullish on India

The company is bullish on the future growth prospects of the Indian market.

Applabs has articulated that revenues from domestic business will contribute up to $4 million to the company`s projected revenues of $100 million by the end of the current financial year, said Ms Sarin.
