Brands Timex to unveil global luxury brands New Delhi, July 28 Boosted by the growth in the luxury watch segment, Timex India is looking to introduce four to five international brands catering to the segment in the country. "Timex is repositioning itself to cater to the aspirational consumers. We have roped in Australian cricketer Brett Lee as the brand ambassador for our new collection," Mr Kapil Kapoor, Senior Vice-President Asia Pacific and Managing Director Timex Group India. He said the company has earmarked a marketing budget of Rs 50 crore for the current fiscal. It has notched a sales turnover of Rs 150 crore in 2007-08. "We are targeting a 20 per cent jump in our turnover." Timex said it also looking to introduce brands such as Nautica. The company, which currently has 60 Time Factory stores, is planning to add 40 outlets. Timex and other major brands will be retailed from these stores. - Our Bureau
