Kolkata to host ICT East 2008

Kolkata, Aug 1

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Eastern Region, in association with the Bengal Department of Information Technology, is organising the ICT East 2008 event in Kolkata on August 6 & 7. The theme of the two-day event is "Moving up the value chain". Senior government officials and representatives of the IT industry will deliberate on a range of topical issues, such as how the IT sector should move up the value chain and how Indian companies are expanding their footprints in the global arena. The event will also take up issues pertaining to infrastructure and what is required to build a successful KPO sector, etc. - Our Bureau
