Geometric bags Ford contract

Mumbai, Aug. 6

Geometric Ltd has received an IT deal from Ford Motor Company for providing the auto major with production support and software maintenance services. The city-based company will also provide application management services for Ford` s engineering application suite. The two companies are building on their existing relationship as Ford has being Geometric` s client for the last six years, according to Dr. Ravi Gopinath, Managing Director & CEO, Geometric Ltd. The services provided by Ford will cover issue analysis, software vendor coordination, testing, and so on, at the various Ford Consumer Business Groups. Currently, Geometric has a team of close to 100 engineers at Ford's Dearborn facility (USA) and the Ford Technology Services center in India, supporting various projects in the project lifecycle management space.- Our Bureau
