Pune, Aug. 9 Bajaj Auto Ltd will launch two more motorcycle models on the XCD platform, following a good response to the Bajaj XCD, a 125 cc motorcycle. According to a Bajaj Auto press release, the Bajaj XCD 125 DTSi has recorded average sales of 27,000 units a month, making it the largest selling 125 cc motorcycle in the country. The Bajaj XCD 125 was launched in September 2007. It said that the 125 cc-plus segment today constituted almost 40 per cent of the motorcycle market, up f rom only 25 per cent two years ago.
