Health Corporate - Society & Development States - Andhra Pradesh HUL, Apollo to launch health awareness programme Our Bureau Hyderabad, Aug 11 FMCG major Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) has teamed up with Apollo group of hospitals to launch a health awareness programme that targeting one lakh students in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Ms Shobana Kamineni, Executive Director of Apollo Hospitals, said obesity among children has gone up significantly. Quoting studies, she said food habits contributed to this. Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Mr Shrijeet Mishra, Executive Director of HUL (Foods), said the duo would pick 200 schools in the top cities of these States under the Amaze Apollo School Wellbeing Programme. After getting students to answer a questionnaire, representatives of Apollo Health Centre would prepare a health and wellness status report for each student and give advice accordingly. BrainfoodIncidentally, HUL’s Food’s division has launched Amaze ‘brainfood’ product in these States.
