Flawless Diamond plans expansion

Coimbatore, Aug. 12

Flawless Diamond India Ltd has planned to open additional 75 outlets within next 24 months. To support its retail plan, it will set up more manufacturing facilities at strategic places and for more exclusive designs to cater every class of customers, it will set up more designer studios and focus on craft jewellery work and hire more people to boost its retail business. It has decided to take more effective steps to bring down its cost and make retail business more profitable.

The company will create more effective e-trade business and come out with innovative new business models and add life-styles products in platinum, gold and silver along with watches and men’s accessories. It will establish a subsidiary soon in Dubai to tap and explore the opportunities in Gulf, Europe and the US. The requirement of Rs 75 crore to Rs 85 crore for over all development of the businesses will be initially met by the internal accruals. The shares of the company closed at Rs 57.70, down 0.43 per cent on the BSE on Tuesday.
