PNB opens 131st Kerala branch

Kochi, Aug. 19

The Punjab National Bank has opened its 131st branch in Kerala at Kollenchery in Ernakulam district. Mr C.V. Jacob, Managing Director, Synthite Industrial Chemicals, formally inaugurated the branch.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Krishnan Ramiah, Kerala Circle Head, said the bank is celebrating this year as the `Year of financial inclusion' and will be concentrating to deliver banking services to all. The bank has provided core banking facility in all the branches in Kerala, including Kollenchery branch. The bank has a total network of 4,598 branches across the country. - Our Bureau
