Internet Marketing - Promotions & Offers LiveJournal unveils writing contest Bangalore, Aug. 20 LiveJournal, a community blogging platform, announced its first India project with the launch of Quick Tales — the LiveJournal Flash Fiction Contest along with Caferati, a literary community in the country. This competition will support Web users in India who share a passion for creative writing and want to use LiveJournal to widen their audience, it said. The contest, for stories up to 500 words, is open for anyone with a mailing address in India from August 11 to S eptember 7 and is themed around the word “Journal”. The top 5 entries will take home cash prizes of Rs 19,999, Rs 16,000 and Rs 12,000, Rs 8,000 and Rs 4,000, respectively. Each of the 100 short-listed entries will also be highlighted on the India Writing Community on LiveJournal.
