Gitanjali launches Rivaaz jewellery

Mumbai, Aug. 26 Gitanjali Gems has launched a new line of gold CZ jewellery Rivaaz. Cubic Zirconia (CZ) is the crystalline form of zirconium dioxide and is used as a cheaper substitute for diamond.

The price range of Riwaaz collection starts from Rs 2,000 to Rs 12,000. Bollywood diva Ms Sameera Reddy has been roped in as brand ambassador for Riwaaz.

Mr R.K. Menon, head-jewellery and retail division, Gitanjali Lifestyle, said Rivaaz is a collection of 18K gold CZ jewellery launched to give the consumer an exciting and affordable choice within gold fully backed with all assurance.

CZ is an artificial stone which has all the look and feel of diamond but the cost is one-tenth. The Indian market for CZ jewellery is estimated at Rs 70-80 crore a year.
