Law school holds maritime law meet

Kochi, Aug. 26

The Indian Institute of Maritime Law organised a seminar here on “Arrest of a Vessel”. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Justice A.K. Basheer of the Kerala High Court said that the maritime law is in the process of evolution in India. The initiatives of the Indian Institute of Maritime Law would enable the shipping industry in many respects, including propagating awareness about maritime law, maritime practices, maritime ethics through workshops, seminars and other programmes, he said.
