Interest Rates SBT hikes term deposit rates Our Bureau Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 26 State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has increased the interest rates for domestic term deposits and non-resident ordinary term deposits with effect from August 25. The revised rates are 3.5 per cent for deposits of seven days to 14 days; five per cent for 15 days up to 30 days; 5.25 per cent for 31 days up to 90 days; 7.75 per cent for 91 days up to 179 days; 8.50 per cent for 180 days to less than one year for deposits below Rs. 15 lakh and 8.75 per cent for deposits above Rs. 15 lakh; 10 per cent for one year to less than two years for deposits below Rs. 15 lakh and 10.10 per cent for deposits above Rs. 15 lakh; 9.60 per cent for two years to less than three years; 9.75 per cent for three years to less than five years; and 9.25 per cent for five years and above.
