Internet Marketing - New Products & Services Dialajob plans to expand operations Our Bureau Bangalore, Sept. 1 Dialajob, a phone-based job search engine, which has launched its services in Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad plans to extend this to Pune, Chennai, Delhi and Kolkota before the end of the year. The phone-in service currently has a database of 30,000 job postings from over 1,000 companies and over one lakh registered candidates. “The business model is based on convenience and confidentiality,” says Mr Murali Manohar, Director, Dialajob. Explaining the convenience factor in the business model, Mr Murali says that Dialajob’s two call centres (in Bangalore and Mumbai) would help candidates prepare their resumes/profiles. After a job matching with the postings that the company has to offer, the candidate would be asked permission to send his/her resume to the company. On acceptance of the resume, the candidate receives a confirmation via SMS. The candidate can also check on the job description suggested by the company. On mutual approval, the interview would be set up. “Each step would be pre-approved by the candidate and would be confidential because it would be through SMS,” says Mr Murali. Dialajob is targeting jobs and candidates across all segments as the convenience factor would work well for all job-seekers. “On some days, the call centres have received about 2,000 calls a day with 23 per cent coming from referrals,” according to him. Dialajob plans to localise its services through regional language call centres soon. More Stories on : Internet | New Products & Services | Human Resources
