Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 9

The four-day Kerala Travel Mart 2008, which is to begin in Kochi on September 20, will have over 300 exhibitors and 1,300 buyers.

Announcing this at a press conference in the city, the Kerala Tourism Minister, Mr Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, has said that hotels, resorts, houseboat operators, homestays and tour operators will participate in the event, which is a buyer-seller meet of the tourism industry.

Held once every two years, the Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) is organised by the Kerala Travel Mart Society with the support of Kerala Tourism.

In keeping with the growing interest in health tourism, this year’s event will also draw participation from several hospitals and ayurveda centres.
