NEDFi posts 20% growth in overall biz at Rs 476 cr

Kolkata, Sept. 21 North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFi) reported 20 per cent growth in overall business at Rs 475.50 crore for the financial year 2007-08, according to a press statement issued by NEDFi. The net non-performing assets of the corporation was 2.35 per cent, down from 4.93 per cent in 2006-07, the release said. Addressing the annual general meeting of NEDFi in Guwahati on September 18, Mr K.N. Hazarika, Chairman and Managing Director, declared a maiden dividend of three per cent for 2007-08 with a payout amounting to Rs 350.98 lakh including tax on dividend.
