Stock Markets Our Bureau Mumbai, Sept. 22 Mr Balkishan M. Mohta was elected as a Trading Member Director of the Bombay Stock Exchange through a poll conducted during the third Annual General Meeting held here last week on September 19. “A poll was ordered by the Chairman under the provisions of article of association of the exchange to elect a Trading Member Director on the Board of Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd,” said a statement issued by BSE. Representatives of Deutsche Borse and Singapore Stock Exchange were also present at the AGM but they could not be inducted on the board for want of SEBI approval, said sources. Earlier, the BSE Chairman, Mr Jagdish Capoor, had said the exchange had decided to offer board positions to the representatives of Deutsche Borse and Singapore Stock Exchange.
