New Delhi, Sept. 24 Standard Chartered Bank on Wednesday announced that it has elevated Mr Hemant Mishr to Head of Global Markets, India. Mr Mishr assumes this responsibility after having led the bank’s Financial Markets Sales division for India and South Asia since 2004.

In his new role, Mr Mishr will drive Standard Chartered Bank’s Global Markets agenda for India, the second largest business for the Standard Chartered Group, leading a team of nearly 100 specialists in various financial market products including foreign exchange, fixed income, commodities and derivatives.
