Hero Mindmine launches learning centre in Chennai

Chennai, Sept. 24 Hero Mindmine Institute Ltd, a training and consulting organisation, recently launched its learning centre for English training programmes in the city. With this, the company has a network of 170 learning centres across India.

A press release quoting Mr Ashok George, Business Head, Hero Mindmine Institute Ltd, said Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have 10 centres each and by the year end, “we will add another 20”. The institution also has presence in China, Mauritius, Bangladesh, Kenya and Sri Lanka.

Hero Mindmine runs programmes pertaining to call centre training, spoken English and courses meant for students looking for a career in the retail industry. These learning centres also focus on personality development, including soft skills, behavioural training, corporate etiquettes and effective communication techniques.

Backed by the $4.2-billion Hero Group, it provides learning solutions in the area of training delivery, consulting, content development and assessments for sectors such as airlines, automotive, BPO, FMCG, IT, pharma etc. In India, the institution has worked with clients such as American Express, CSC, GE, Godrej, HP, IBM, Infosys, the Tata Group, LG, EDS and Samsung.
