Lucas-TVS team wins contest

Chennai, Sept 27

An all-women team of Lucas-TVS, Puducherry, has won a competition for Quality Circles, held by the Maruti Suzuki Supplier Welfare Association. Eleven teams comprising people drawn from shop-floor and middle management levels took part in the event that was held in Chennai last week. The team will now take part in the finals of the competition to be held in New Delhi in October. A win there would take it to Suzuki’s headquarters in Japan. —
