Promotions & Offers Industry & Economy - Health States - Karnataka Mantri offers clinics at its Bangalore apartment projects The company will invest Rs 10 lakh to Rs 12 lakh in equipment and getting the clinic operational. Anjana Chandramouly Bangalore, Sept. 29 Stretching the ambit of super amenities that developers offer these days, Mantri Developers has tied up with Apollo Hospitals to provide telemedicine facilities for residents at its upcoming and recently completed projects in Bangalore. “In today’s fast-paced life, people don’t have time to take care of themselves. We are coming up with the tele-healthcare facility so that people can get medical attention and still avoid commuting to the hospital and the waiting time there,” says Ms Snehal Mantri, Director, Mantri Developers. The developer had first come up with the idea of tele-healthcare facilities for its high-end Mantri Espania project. “We would be extending it to Mantri Flora and Mantri Greens, already completed, by the year-end,” she adds. In fact, all their old projects would also get this facility in 6 to 8 months, “if the residents want it,” says Ms Mantri. The company will invest Rs 10 lakh to Rs 12 lakh in equipment and getting the clinic operational, she adds. Health facilitiesThe clinic, on 300 sq ft that would be part of the clubhouse at Espania, would be equipped with emergency medicines, detention facilities, a doctor at a fixed time from Apollo Hospitals, qualified nurse, paramedical staff and tele-healthcare facilities for 24x7 consultations with a specialised doctor at Apollo Hospitals in Bangalore and Chennai, says Ms Mantri. Emergency tele-consultations, outside the prescribed hours, through trained persons would also be ensured. Home delivery of prescribed medicines without any extra delivery charges, special discount for further consultations in Apollo Hospitals, special discount and priority admission and treatment as in-patient management at Apollo Hospitals at Bangalore and Chennai, and emergency ambulance facilities at a special cost are some of the other facilities that would be available. “The above facilities are being provided by our company for the first year. Thereon, the association can decide if they would like to continue with them,” says Ms Mantri. “Besides, apartment buyers would automatically be registered with the hospital, and the cost would be borne by us.” More Stories on : Promotions & Offers | Health | Real Estate & Construction | Karnataka
