A s many as 500 cardiologists from the country are expected to participate in the 15th annual conference ICCCON 2008, the annual meeting organised by the Indian College of Cardiology here from October 2 to 4. The focus theme of the conference this year include the growing epidemic of diabetes in India, its effect on the incidence of cardiovascular disease (CVD), newer diagnostic imaging technique and recent advances in therapeutics. The main topics to be covered during the three-day summit at Le Meridian include the problems that India will face with the increasing incidence of CVD. – Our Bureau
