Aviva names new CEO

Mumbai, Oct. 1

Aviva Life Insurance, a joint venture between Dabur and Aviva, has appointed Mr T.R. Ramachandran as the company's Chief Executive Officer, a press release issued by the company said. He will be heading the company's Indian operations. Mr Ramachandran would replace Mr Bert Patterrson, the company's MD and CEO from September 2006. Before joining Aviva Life, Mr Ramachandran was working with Citibank as the Head of Retail Banking. -Our Bureau
