Our Bureau Mumbai, Oct 6 Over 85 developers will exhibit 800 projects at the Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI) Property 2008 expo here at the MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex, between October 9 and 12. The exhibition is organised by MCHI with the State Bank of India, HDFC, ICICI Bank Home Loans, LIC Housing Finance and Axis Bank participating as co-organisers. The expo, he said, would offer a wide range of properties along with the participating banks offering loans. A number of commercial properties would also be showcased by premier property developers. A lucky draw scheme would be offered to those who purchase properties during the four-day event and they could win prizes such as a lifestyle apartment, branded furniture and fitness equipment. Leading developers from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Pune, besides a few all-India majors, are expected to participate in the exhibition, which will be across three halls spread over 25,000 sq. mt. Another salient feature of the exhibition is that visitors can have their queries on legal, finance and taxation issues answered by a panel of experts at the venue. Mr Dharmesh Jain, vice-president, and Mr Mayur Shah, secretary, said that despite the dismal global scenario the India growth story was intact and that there was a genuine shortage of housing. Some builders would be offering schemes such as EMI subvention of one to two per cent till delivery of property, besides free parking space as well.
