Aricent to hire 800 professionals

New Delhi, Oct. 10 Aricent, a technology and outsourcing company focused on the communications industry, on Friday announced plans to hire about 800 professionals over the next three months, expanding its global workforce by up to 10 per cent by the year-end, with particular emphasis on Indian operations.

“Aricent has launched the most ambitious hiring initiative in the company’s history to support its growing customer engagements. The emphasis for this campaign will be adding customer-oriented personnel, including engineers, team leaders and customer support resources, with a high percentage of these new hires being recruited in India,” a company release said here.

The company would hire close to 600 people in India, in centres such as Bangalore, Delhi and Chennai, while Ukraine and China would see addition of 100 people each.

Aricent currently has 8,000 employees across 33 offices worldwide. Of this, over 6,000 employees are based in India.
