CLSA picks up 7.1% in Apollo Hospitals

Chennai, Nov. 26 CLSA (Mauritius) Ltd has bought 43 lakh shares (or 7.1 per cent) of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd for Rs 180 crore, it was announced on Wednesday. The purchase of shares was made in the open market on November 14. On the NSE, Apollo Hospitals’ share closed at Rs 378.10, down 3.67 per cent over the previous close. As of September 30, the institutional holding in the company was 43.58 per cent, all but 5.1 per cent of which was held by FIIs.
