TCS’ Vidyasagar to get award

Hyderabad, Nov. 27

Mr M. Vidyasagar, Executive Vice-President at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), based in Hyderabad, has been named the recipient of the IEEE Control Systems Award 2008. The award come in recognition of his research in the field of control and systems theory, leading to the development of a fundamental tool in the design of robust control systems a release said. The IEEE is the world’s leading professional association for the advancement of technology. The award will b e presented to him on December 9 at the 47th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control in Cancun, Mexico.
