Vision Summit to be held in Feb

Bangalore, Nov. 27

The India Semiconductor Association (ISA), a trade body representing the country’s semiconductor driven industry, said its annual global event Vision Summit 2009 would be held in Bangalore on February 16 and 17. This year, the theme “India: Gateway to Future Markets,” will be leveraged to create platforms for discussion and sharing of ideas on topics pertinent to the issues related to the emiconductor related ecosystem. Vision Summit will help address th e projected $363-billion Indian electronics market in 2015. “In the light of the large global economy, it is imperative that we strengthen our domestic market to ensure growth and success during an economic crisis. It is necessary to look at alternative avenues to ensure growth and protect our assets. Vision Summit will primarily focus on this issue,” said Ms Poornima Shenoy, President, ISA.
